Remember I mentioned earlier that I work fulltime from home. Yes, this what I do… Affiliate Marketing!

The idea of being an affiliate marketer is very simple, you promote other people products and services and you earn commissions from it. Commissions depends on what type of affiliate program you join, a rough estimated range would be 4% up to 75% of the overall price. Ever heard of Amazon? Amazon has one of the largest Affiliate networks online and most of my revenue comes from promoting Amazon products.

The benefits of being an affiliate marketer is,

  • You don’t have to own any of these products
  • You don’t have to store any products
  • You don’t have to worry about customer support
  • You can work whenever, wherever and how long you want
  • Can be based on your very own passion or hobby. For instance, bodybuilding, pets, make-up
  • Your target market is Worldwide, even though you¬†stay at a particular country.
  • Hence, more opportunities = more sales = more¬†commissions¬†= more revenue

4 steps to build an affiliate marketing business

  • Step 1: Choose a Niche – Based on hobby/passion
  • Step 2: Build a website – Takes less than 30 seconds
  • Step 3: Get Traffic – Get people to visit your website
  • Step 4: Earn revenue – make commissions from sales through organic traffic/PPC

There are lots of market research companies out there looking for opinions on certain things, and this is where you come in. Basically, you sign up for survey sites and whenever you have a new survey they will send it via email. You can earn anywhere from $0.30 – $2.00 per survey, but most sites pay in between.

Creating your own YouTube channel and adding videos is a good way to supplement extra income. Before that you should ask yourself, what type of content are you going to create to drive traffic to your channel. It can be anything like, growing beards, crazy hair cuts, make up, funny or pranks videos.

Once you reached a quota of certain number of views of your videos, you can now incorporate advertisements(ads) on your video. Remember when watching any videos, these irritating ads comes out of nowhere. Yes, I’m referring to those.

(13) Selling your own products

You can sell any type of product you want, but if you have little(or zero) experience and low budget than you might want to go for something that is more simple. For instance, creating and designing T-shirts, Hoodies, Caps and bunch more. These is a common trend in the market nowadays. People create their own brands/designs and sell it online, especially Facebook ads.
I have seen a lot of these myself in Facebook, a hoodie with ” I’m from America but my heart is in Manchester United”, something like this. I believe you have seen such products yourself.
You can always create a E-commerce website(online store) and sell different products. Have you watched this recent movie called the Intern where Robert De Niro and Anna Hathaway are the stars. In that movie, Anna Hathaway runs a E-commerce clothes business which she started out herself which eventually evolved into a huge building with over 220 workers.
That’s not a lie. It’s true, there are people who started selling small(cheap) products online and eventually scaled their businesses. 1. It would’ve been nice if I’d started online business when I was still in college. I just graduated last year and just found out about developing my website to create my own business after I was out of school. I’m not sure if I’d have the focus and capacity to work on my website as I do right now when I was still in school, but it would’ve been nice if I’d started earlier so I can start making some income by the time I was done with school.

  2. Nice one laying out all the possible online jobs your can search on the internet. It is our moral responsibility to ensure that people who are just starting to look for online job does not end up being scammed on the web. Such heinous fraud are flooding the web now that it is difficult to determine whether it is legitimate or not.
