Welcome to my review on ActShares.com I’m sure many of you are wondering whether Act Shares is a legit opportunity to earn money online or if it is a scam. Well, you have definitely come to the right place because in this review I will share with you everything you need to know about this program and also conclude on whether you should join or not.
Alright without further ado, let’s get things started…
Name: Act Shares
Price: “Free to join”
ActShares.com is a website that claims to help you earn money from home. On their homepage, it says, “if you’re a student, retired, working full-time, or just looking to make some extra cash, this is the ticket to fun, easy money!”.
I’m sure most of you who came across this site would be eager to get started with this opportunity. Who doesn’t want to make money from the comfort of their own home? Of course, everyone does! But the more important question is whether is it really legit and worth investing our time into.
Having experience in making money online over the past 2 years, I can say that this isn’t the first time coming across such a site. Yes, I have come across many similar sites like this that claimed to pay lucrative money without putting in much efforts at all.
I don’t see why this is any different from the rest. But nevertheless, I decided to check it and will document my experience here.
My Personal Experience, a bitter one I should say!
Registering with ActShares.com was a pretty fast, it took less than a minute. All you have to do was enter an email address, name and, password.
So basically within the member’s area, they have this section where the provided me with my very own referral link that I was required to share around on places like Facebook, Twitter, Google +, PTC sites, etc. and whenever someone clicks on that link I can earn up to $1 and if its a US visitor I will receive $1.50. Wow, How easy is that?
The minimum threshold to cash out is $100 dollars. So as they suggested, I shared my link on some of the platforms and within a couple of days, I managed to hit the withdrawal limit of $100.
I know, some of you would be thinking right now… SO DID I GET PAID?
Well, as suspected… I didn’t get paid a dime. It’s kinda obvious, isn’t it? Who in the world in the right mind will pay anyone $1 or $1.50 just to get someone to click on your link? Well, no one…ever!
Anyway, I tried contacting them through their support to see what they had to say about this. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a single response from them.
So, What is the purpose of this Website then?
There are two reasons why sites like this are flooded all over the internet.
(1) The owner makes money!
Now, I am sure many of you will start to question me. “Hey, Kumar! This site is totally free to join, so how does the owner make money?”.
Yes, I do agree with you signing up is free but once you go into the member’s area and take a closer look you will see that the owner has set up some monetizing opportunities.
Let’s take a look at those now!
Inside the member’s area, one of the menu on the left-hand side says ‘make more money’. This is where our dear friend benefits from. So basically he is promoting some products, well to be more specific, I should say scam products.
Yes, these products are pure scams. They ain’t going to make you a single penny, in fact, you will have to purchase them. When you purchase these products, the owner will earn commissions. I have actually written reviews for some of the products that he/she is promoting here.
(2) Sell your Personal Information
Another reason for the existence of such sites is to sell your personal information. In other words, your email address. To most of you, email address isn’t such a big deal. But there are companies out they waiting to prey on you through the medium of email.
So what do I mean?
Basically, websites like ActShares.com will sell your email address as a lead to companies that willing to buy emails. These companies will then spam you with all the shady items, that you will receive in your junk mail. Ever wondered how you get so many spam emails? This is one way! So to avoid receiving junk mails try not to give out your email address to websites like this.
My Final thoughts!
So now we know why this website is created for. Basically, the owner wants you to get as many people to see this website and hopefully those that join clicks on the ‘make more money’ tab and purchases his recommended products so he can earn commissions. And secondly through getting your email address and selling it to other companies.
Either of this benefits the owner of the website only. What an unethical way of earning money!
In conclusion, ActShares.com is definitely a scam and I highly recommend that you stay away from this site. The claims of helping you make money effortlessly from the comfort of your own home is unreal, if you are not careful you are going to end up losing your money to some shady products recommend inside the member’s area.
My #1 Recommendation
Anyway, for those of you who are still keen on making money online, I would suggest you start your own online business.
The potential is much greater and you don’t have to rely on anybody but yourself.
All it takes is a passion and hunger to succeed!
