This review is going to be on a program called Internet Marketing Apprentice. What is Internet Marketing Apprentice? A scam or legit opportunity to make money? Is it worth spending time and money on this program? These are some of the questions that will be focused on in this review.
Without further ado, let’s get things rolling…
Name: Internet Marketing Apprentice
Owner: Craig Dawber
Price: $1(1 week Trial), thereafter $17(monthly)
What is Internet Marketing Apprentice about?
Basically, it’s a membership site that provides various training, tools, and several additional services for people looking to get started with online marketing.
However, there are several things I didn’t like about the website. The very first thing was a bold claim,” Join my exclusive “inner circle” membership and substantially increase your chances of reaching your financial goals in the next 30 days”.
One thing you need to know about internet marketing, especially if you are a beginner is, internet marketing is just like any other offline business but now the only difference it’s online(and you don’t need a big capital to start with). So what I am trying to say is that you will still need to put in lots of effort and give yourself enough time like any other business. Almost no business see profits it less than 6 months, the early stages of a business will either have an outcome of losing money or break even.
There is quite a handful of business that takes years before they actually make profits. These depends on various factors like how much how they invested into it, how much effort are they putting(for instance, marketing), revenue management and etc.
So my point is, expecting to reach closer to your financial goals is nothing but just false hopes. Yes, that’s true. The owner of the program, Craig Dawber is giving you unrealistic hopes. I have been a full-time internet marketer for just over a year, it took me 6 months before I started earning a full time income online(approx. $2-3k) and all of these wouldn’t have happened without first class training.
How much is it going to cost?
Internet Marketing Apprentice is going to cost you monthly $17. But before that, you can have a taste of their tools and resource for just $1. This dollar will allow you to have access to the members area for just one week, after which you could choose whether you want to continue or not.
But what you need to know is, you have to manually discontinue the program if not you will be automatically charged for a 1-month membership($17) on the 6th day itself.
Seems like they also provide a 60-day money back guarantee which is great. But what you might want to know is, not necessarily they are obligated to pay you the money. Often these guarantee seems to be more for promotional purposes than anything else.
I had experience with ClickBank products couple years back. They claimed to give 30 and 60 days money back guarantee too. Sometimes I had to email them over ten times before they get back to me. In some cases, I didn’t even get my money back. So what I am trying to say is, you are not going to get a refund without a hassle most times.
So my advice to you is, don’t focus too much on the money back guarantee. If you are going to “pull the trigger” based on that claim, I rather you don’t do it. Only get this program if you feel that it is the best option for you going forward.
However, before you decide that I want to do a quick summary on some of the good and bad.
Summary of Good & Bad
(1) Quite Honest about why most internet marketers fail
I have to agree on this with Craig. The reason why quite a lot of people fail in this is not the business model sucks. Is because people are not doing the right things at the right time. Lack of information plays a major role in my people fail in online marketing. Yes, you could get free information online but you don’t have a direction of where to get started with.
Sign up with affiliate programs first? Choose niche first? How to get traffic?
All these are the roots of a successful online marketing business. If you did it wrong, you can say that you are probably not going to make any money as you expected to.
Also, I have to agree that most people easily get distracted by shiny objects. I need not go so far, I myself, ended up being distracted by those “get rich quick” schemes. All I ended up is with an empty pocket… So from then onwards I realized that the only way to make money is through hard work and determination.
(2) Decent training and resources
I wouldn’t say that the training is outstanding, they just seem to be average to me. They have over 150 video course so it definitely will help you get started but I am not too confident whether they will help you make five figure a month like what Craig claimed earlier.
They also have a discussion forum that enables you to connect with like minded-people and also allows you to ask questions whenever you have doubts.
(3) $1 Trial
Honestly, I kinda like this “$1 Trial” because it allows you to have a glimpse of what this program is all about, what is has to offer and whether it is something up to your liking. If it’s not up to your expectation you can always leave after the trial. So it’s more like a win-win situation for both parties if you ask me.
(1) Quite a number of useless and outdates resources
Seems like internet marketing apprentice is still about 5 years behind time. The reason why I say this is because some of their training are not updated and seem to mislead newbies to think that they are still working. Things like Private Label Rights (PLR) articles has become useless since Google update a few years back.
Basically, PLR articles are duplicated content that anyone can use for their internet marketing. What you need to know here is, what is available to you is also available to other members as well. So you are not doing anything unique, basically, you are doing the same thing has someone else… so how do you expect Google to give you good rankings for that?
In fact, you are going to get heavily penalized for it and in worst cases you won’t even get ranked. Traffic is the core to any business, without traffic you will never have a chance to showcase your site and make any money.
Also, things like monthly VIP newsletters are useless. Seriously, just because you read someone else’s success stories and tips doesn’t mean you will achieve similar success too. Online Marketing is all about taking actions, if you are not ready to commit yourself then reading thousands of newsletters also will have no effect on you.
(2) Exaggerated Claims
Like I mentioned earlier, claims of making a good amount of money within the first month in internet marketing are really too good to be true. Honestly, it’s going to take some time before you see the money. You could say that for the first couple of months you will be working without a pay.
Don’t get disheartened by that because things will start to snowball and your traffic will continue to increase as you work through your site. More traffic will result in higher probability of sales. So your focus for the first few months is to try and get as much organic traffic as you can to your website.
I was on the verge of quitting because like everyone else, I too was impatient and was skeptical whether or not this business model will work for me. But I have to say, my patience really paid off. Just think about it, what if I stopped everything a month earlier just because I haven’t seen any success. I would have lost out on this great opportunity. I’m very thankful to myself that I persevered through.
(3) Some articles are not even related to internet Marketing
OK, this really frustrates me. The website claims to be teaching things about internet marketing. Then why suddenly there is other strange money making methods introduced in the site.
Seems to mislead people if you ask me. And worst still, some of this methods requires you to spend additional money on top of the $17 you are going to pay for your membership.
My Final thoughts.
Internet Marketing Apprentice may not necessarily be a scam because they do offer a good amount of tools, resources, and training. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is the right direction to go forward in internet marketing because the information found here are jumbled up, not up-to-date and some are even misleading. All in all, I feel that you are going to eventually still get stuck and not make any money with all the information here.
Support is the CORE of any membership site. From what it seems, support isn’t that great. Yes, they have a forum but I notice there isn’t much communication going on and you can’t really get help from the owner. It feels as if I am alone while surfing this site. Not real people to go too when I am in need of help.
Furthermore, if you look at the overall appearance of the website, it seems like it hasn’t really been updated for many years. This site looks like it is built from HTML. Also on the right-hand corner, they have a column for feedback on what members say. Everything there looks so positive, but there is one problem there. There isn’t any image of evidence to support that statement. It seems more like the owner typed everything out himself and make it look as if people are really appreciating his site.
Anyway, the decision is yours to make. If you really want to give the site a try, then utilize their 7 days trial.
Final Verdict: Legit, But Not Recommended
Alternative Training Program
Remember I mentioned earlier, that I am also an online marketer. I am making full-time income from home through online marketing but all these wouldn’t have been possible with this training program called Wealthy Affiliate.
Wealthy Affiliate is an online marketing training community. Basically, it teaches you how to make money through WordPress websites. This website here, everyonecanmakemoneyonline.com is also built through WordPress. You don’t really need any experience in building a site. You can have your very own fully functional website in less than 30 seconds.
The training provided at Wealthy Affiliate is second to none. It is a community-based platform that allows you to interact with other newbies and online entrepreneurs too. Unlike Internet Marketing Apprentice which still uses the forum as means of communication, Wealthy Affiliate has taken things to a whole new level. You can chat live with people from all over the world. Make friends, learn from them and also help them.
You also can get private access to the owners who have a combined experience of over 26 years in this industry.
Didn’t I mention that it’s free to join? Yes, that’s correct NO CREDIT CARD DETAILS REQUIRED!
