Is Gaming Jobs Online a Scam? Read My Review Before Joining!

If you are wondering whether is gaming jobs online a scam or legitimate opportunity to make money online, you have definitely come to the right place. I will be doing a review on it to share with you the real truth behind this “ridiculous” opportunity.

The reason why used the word ridiculous is because some of the claims(especially earnings) they made on their website are really too good to be true. I will go into all of these in further details later on in this review, so do take a couple of minutes to read through thoroughly.

Name: Gaming Jobs Online

Owner: Glen Anderson

Price: $5/month – discounted price

Rating: 1/5

What is Gaming Jobs Online all about?

Gaming Jobs Online acts as a “middleman” membership website between you(game tester) and the companies/market research firms. In other words, Gaming Jobs Online will find and list different gaming related job offers and display them within the members area. All you have to do is click on those links and complete the offers and get PAID.

According to their website, professional video game testers are earning an average of $39,000 a year just to play video games… and Gaming Jobs Online is going to show you how.

Wow, is it really that easy to make money?

Hold on a minute… before I go ANY further I want to share with you something else.

Recently I reviewed a program called “Photography Jobs Online“, the funny thing is that both these websites look almost the same – The lady talking in the video, the website layout and many more. If you don’t believe me, you can have a look for yourself here.

Now, this can’t be a coincidence that both website and even their names look exactly the same. To me, it seems like the same person(s) are behind both this sites. Unfortunately, I concluded that Photography Jobs Online is a scam so I don’t see why this is any different from it.

How much does it Cost?

The original price of the program is $27 per month. However, they have a three-day promo, thus, you only have to pay $5 for their premium membership.

$5 per month in exchange for thousands of dollars in profits seems like a real bargain, provided it works.

Now, the BIG question is… Is it really just $5 per month?

If you ask me, I will say that’s definitely not true. I got a strong hunch that they are going to rebill you with a much higher price sooner or later.

Why do I say that? Take a look at this…

I took this snippet from their Affiliates page. For those of you don’t know what “Affiliates” stands for… allow me to explain. Affiliates are people who promote this product and earns commissions from every sale. In this case, Gaming Jobs Online mentioned that Affiliates will get 55% of the membership sale.

Lets, do some maths here:

If membership is $5 per month,

1 member – 0.55 x $5 = $2.75 commission

100 members – $2.75 x 100 = $275 commission only

If membership is $27 per month,

1 member – 0.55 x $27 = $14.85

100 members – $14.84 x 100 = $1,485 commission

Now, refer back to the earnings table above.. which seems more close to the values above?

Obviously the $27 per month right? So there you go… the $5 per month seems more like a trial offer only. They will probably re-bill you with the remaining $22 after a week or so.

What to expect within the members area

According to their website, these are some of the jobs offers you will be getting:

  • Get Paid to play new and upcoming games
  • Get Paid to take online surveys and make $5 – $75 per survey
  • Get Paid to participate in focus groups and make $150 per hour
  • Get Paid to try new games, gaming consoles, controllers or other products & keep the free products too
  • Get Paid to preview new movie or game trailers for $4 to $25 per hour
  • Get Paid to review new games for up to $30 an hour

So are these true, can you really make that much money using this program?

The answer is… NO!!!

Everything mentioned on their website are nothing but FALSE claims. None of these are true…

What you are going to get within the members area is some bunch of links to some different gaming and survey sites. You are going to have to be careful because some of these gaming sites will require you to spend some money upfront. As for the survey sites, there are no different than the ones you can find yourself online.

Don’t worry, you are not going to make $5-$75 per survey. It’s more like $0.50-$0.75 per survey. Most of these links are embedded with Affiliate Links. In other words, the owner is probably a member of those sites. Whenever you join and earn/spend money he will get commissions from you.

Other than that, there will be a bunch of outdated job offers and full of broken links.

All in all, these program offers nothing like what it claimed earlier on…

The only person who is really making money is the creator of this website. He earns money from your membership fees and from the companies he is affiliated with.

How does Video game testers really operate?

Testing video games is actually a legit job opportunity but it is not as simple as just playing games and sharing opinions. Just because you love playing video games doesn’t mean you are a qualified tester.

There are actually more to being a video game tester, and most importantly it requires you to have a proper knowledge(education) and experience.

E.g. Game_Testing_Qualifications

There are lots of freelance job opportunities related to testing video games. If you have what it takes to be a video game tester then you can head on to sites like Upwork or

Do take note that these are just like any other job that pays you on a weekly or monthly basis. You probably can expect a salary of a few thousands of dollars at most. You are definitely not going to earn income like what you see in the “Earning Calculator”.

The earning calculator is one of the biggest red flags of their website. There is no real purpose or meaning behind any of the figures, there are just there to entice you into signing up.

My Final thoughts…

Gaming Jobs Online is definitely a scam, and I have doubt about that. The chances of you making a penny out of this program are ZERO so I recommend that you stay far away from this. I believe you may have come across websites or  even YouTube videos telling all sorts of good things about this opportunity. Like I mentioned earlier, these guys are just affiliates promoting the program to earn commissions.

Before I forget, I also wanted to mention about the 60-days money back guaranteed policy. Don’t be fooled by this claim either because most often used as a marketing bait only – lure more customers

There have been tons of complaints from users that they are not getting a refund. Actually, I’m not too surprised myself. Think about it, if everybody who pays for the programs ask for a refund, the owner is going to lose lots of money. Obviously, he is not stupid enough to do that!

Anyway, If you are still looking for a legitimate work from home opportunity, I highly encourage you to take a look at my #1 Recommended program. Unlike Gaming Jobs Online which offers zero value, here you will learn to build your very own online business. The best part is you can build a business based on a hobby or passion of yours.

Alright, I have come to the end of my review on “Gaming Jobs Online”. If you have any questions to ask regarding anything, please shoot them my way! I will be more than happy to help you out. Also, all of you are entitled to share with us your personal opinions of what you think about the program. I really look forward to hearing from each and every one of you. 🙂
