Welcome to my review on OG Bucks. I’m sure many of you are wondering whether ogbucks.com is a legit opportunity to earn money online or if it is a scam. Well, you have definitely come to the right place because in this review I will share with you everything you need to know about this program and also conclude on whether you should join or not.
Alright without further ado, let’s get things started…
Name: OG Bucks
Price: Free to join
OG Bucks Overview
OG Bucks is a site claiming that you can earn real money today by leveraging social media. It says “#1 Influencer network”, and I have no idea what that even means. They are willing to even give you a $25 sign up bonus just to get started.
At this point, it might seem to you that you have found a goldmine but believe me, I have encountered countless similar sites such as this over the last few years. Honestly, I don’t see how different all these are from the rest. Anyway, I am just going to sign up, try it for myself and share my experience here since its free to join.
If it really pays, I will be one happy person.
My Personal Experience
Registering with OG Bucks was a pretty fast, it took less than a minute. All you have to do was enter an email address, username and, password. As promised, the $25 bonus did appear in my dashboard. But is it really legit? We have to wait and see.
Once you have registered and made your way into the dashboard, you will see something similar as above.
As you can see, it says all you have to do is share you referral link with anyone and you can make money. For every click you will earn $2 and for every sign up you will earn $10. Besides that, if you were to click on the ‘share link’ you can earn further $5.
There are also other means of promoting this site to others instead of just copying and pasting the link. On the left hand side tab, you can see they have prepared promotional material for snapchats and even YouTube.
There are four criteria to meet before you can cash out your money.
- 10 Referral link Clicks
- 5 Referrals
- 10 Completed Offers
- $100 Referral Commissions
Number 1,2, 4 can be accomplished in a short space of time.
We should all turn our focus to number 3, which says completing 10 offers. This is where the problem begins and if you are not careful, you will be sucked into 1) getting your information stolen and sold 2) spending money instead of making. These offers are nothing but a medium to scam your money and information.
For instance, I clicked on the Amazon offer and eventually end up to this page where I will need to provide them even my postal code. Also, most people don’t bother reading the Terms & Conditions, which is the reason why you are going to end up on the losing side. Inside these T&C’s they have stated how these offers will be working. Some offers may require your credit card details or even your mobile number. Surprisingly, that is all they need to suck out money from you.
So to keep in simple, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO COMPLETE THE OFFERS!!
Because, completing the offers isn’t going to land you with a load of cash.
This site is no different from the other sites I have tried that promised fast cash. All the hype about making quick bucks simply through spamming referral links isn’t real. As expected, you can’t really make anything from such sites because its really too good to be true.
So now, you might be wondering what is the purpose of such sites if its free and it doesn’t pay at all. There is a hidden agenda for such sites and I am going to tell it to you now. The owner of the site is actually making money of us.
The whole idea of the referral link to earn money is just to get more people to sign up and complete the offers. Completing the offers provides commissions for the owner. And that commission doesn’t come from nowhere, it is from either selling our personal information or scamming our money without our knowledge.
But they have payment Proof!
Not all payment proofs are a scam. But this one here is definitely a scam. From the above image, the dates are unclear, but if you go to the actual website, you will be able to see the proof dating back to 2018.
I just did a quick search on their domain name ogbucks.com, and you can see that this site was only registered on the 25th june 2019 which is in contradiction to the payment dates stating 2018. How can someone be paid when the site have not even existed. Obviously, its some gimmicks they owner of the site is trying to play on us.
Too bad, most times these guys are not as smart as who they think they are. They usually tend to drop hints such as this. Hence, it is always important that we look out for such hints before we decide to fully commit into some thing.
My Final Thoughts!
ogbucks.com is definitely a scam, I strongly encourage that you stay away from it. Apart from wasting our time there is also a chance that you can lose money from completing the task offers.
This is an unethical way of making money where the deceive people like you and me into filling up their own pockets. My rule of thumb to online opportunities is pretty straight forward I highly recommend that you practice this belief too. “When an opportunity is too good to be true, it probably is best to stay away from”.
I hope my post have shed some light on this site and in general give you a rough idea how to spot and avoid scams one you come across one again.
Is there a Better Alternative?
I have been doing this for over 4 years and this is what has been putting food on my table.
(PS: You can go to Whois, search my domain name and you can see my registered date) 🙂
So what am I exactly doing?
Well, nothing out of the ordinary, but if you are keen on making passive or full time income, then it is something you should get your hands on to.
No… I am not promising you quick money, but with effort and persistence, you could do well too.
Alright, I have come to the end of my review on OG Bucks. I hope by now you have a better understanding of what this program is all about. Those who have personally tried or simply want to share your thoughts are welcomed to do so by leaving a comment in the box below.
