This review is going to be on a website called Paid2Refer.com. What is Paid2Refer? Is it a scam? Or a legitimate opportunity for you to earn money online? Is it worth investing time on a site like this? These are some of the questions that we will be focusing on in this short review.
Alright without further ado, let’s get things rolling…
Name: Paid 2 Refer
Price: “Free to join”
What is Paid2Refer.com all about?
Paid2Refer.com claims to be a leading online advertising company that allows members to earn money through their system. All you have to do is register an account, share your link and earn money when someone visits the site through your link.
On the right-hand side of the homepage, you can see some website statistics. It shows that they currently have 35398 members and have paid out $211519 to them. They also did mention in their FAQ section that many of their top members are earning more than $50 per day and $1000+ per month.
Wow, seems like an easy way to earn money right?
Well… don’t get too excited yet. Personally, I’m not buying into any of their claims just yet because I have come across many similar sites like this in the past which said I can make money simply by sharing links. Unfortunately, I didn’t make a dime from them. I don’t really see how this is any different from those.
Anyway, I am not coming to any conclusions just yet. Since it’s free to join, I am going to try it and see how it goes. I will document my experience right below!
My Personal Experience…
The registration process was a pretty fast one. All I had to do was enter a username, password and my email address to create the account.
After I logged in, there was a referral link for me to promote. I followed as what they told and posted my link on social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Youtube. As promised I did earn $0.50 for every unique visitor and also got my $2.
It took me about a week to reach the minimum cash out of $30 and sadly all the efforts are gone to waste. I requested for cash out but they asked me to do some sort of survey offers first. When I looked at these offers, they aren’t even free of charge. I was required to spend some money to complete those which obviously I didn’t do.
After doing some research I realized that this whole website exists for a single purpose. Basically, they want you to promote this site and reach out to as many people as possible, hoping that they will spend some money to complete the surveys thus the founders behind this website can make money.
At the end of the day, the owners of this site are making money off us. It obviously a no-brainer that you can’t make money simply by allowing people to click the link. If making money was that easy, probably no one needs to ever work again.
So is Paid2Refer.com a scam?
Yes, Paid2Refer.com is definitely a scam.
I highly recommend that you stay away from this website(or any other similar site) at all cost. Although it doesn’t require you to fork out a lot of money, it nevertheless is still is a scam because it gives you fake promises and wastes your time and effort recruiting people.
You should understand that earning money online is no different from the corporate world. You will have to work hard to see any form of income coming in. Do your bosses pay you a salary for taking frequent leaves and MCs? Of course not.
Those that promise you easy or instant money are obviously lying and have some hidden agenda up their sleeves.
Final Verdict: Scam, Not Recommended
Safe & Solid Way To Earn Money Online?
For those of you who are keen in generating good income online, I highly recommend that you Start Your Own Online Business. This is a really safe and solid opportunity because you don’t depend on anybody but yourself. You don’t have to worry about completing the tasks and not getting paid later on.
So… what do I mean by online business?
There are many ways of running your very own online business. Selling your own products, running an e-commerce store, Amazon FBA is a few I can list from the top of my head. But the one that I am most comfortable with and talking about now is called Affiliate Marketing.
Affiliate Marketing means promoting someone else’s products/services and earn commissions from it. There are countless of benefits for this approach which is the reason why I really love it.
Some of them include…
- You don’t need a huge capital to start
- Can be done from the comfort of your own home
- No need to physically get in contact with anyone. Everything is done through the internet.
- You don’t have to worry about what products to sell or storage space to put your products
It’s really not difficult to get started. All you need is an interest or passion. If you have one, you can build a business around it. I have been doing this for just over a year and have seen more than just great success with it. This opportunity has allowed me to quit my day job and run this entirely from home and the best part…? My income is almost 3 times of what I earned in the corporate world.
Though it is nice to hear… I have to tell you that this didn’t happen overnight. I have put in a great amount of effort to make this work. If you are expecting to make tons of money within a week or month, sorry, this isn’t something for you. You have to put in the effort and give yourself enough time to see success in this.
I know some of you might be thinking right now, how do I get started without any proper understanding or knowledge about Affiliate Marketing & starting an online business. Don’t worry, I have got you covered. I have been using this program called Wealthy Affiliate. It’s an online training platform that teaches you from scratch to building an affiliate marketing business.
