This review is going to be about a website called RevenueShareFive. What is Revenue Share Five? Is it a scam? Or a legit opportunity for you to make money online? Is it worth investing money and time into a site like this? These are some of the questions that we will be focusing on in this short review.
Alright without further ado, let’s get things rolling…
Name: Revenue Share Five
Price: Free to join (with paid memberships available + Adpacks)
What is RevenueShareFive all about?
RevenueShareFive is an advertising platform where anyone can leverage on to drive traffic to their website or affiliate links.
Apart from that, one can also make money participating in the revenue sharing program and viewing of Advertisements.
How Does it Exactly Work?
Unlike many other sites I have come across, RevenueShareFive’s plan is quite straightforward. All you have to do to participate in the revenue sharing program is to purchase a share and click on 5 ads daily. Failure to click on the ads for that day will not entitle you to revenue sharing.
Anyway, each share will cost you $10. According to their website, their shares are stackable. Meaning, the more shares you purchase the more money you could potentially make.
However, that doesn’t mean you should purchase as many as you like. The rule of thumb is, spend as much as you can afford to lose. Whether it’s sure money or unsure money, just keep to the limit. You don’t want to be in a situation where you spend a big amount of money only to find out that it is a scam.
Should You Upgrade Your Account?
I know some of you might be thinking whether to upgrade your account and increase your potential of making more money. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to upgrade their account… unless you are ready to commit yourself for a very long time and also have great amount knowledge and experience getting referrals.
One common mistake I see across the site is, people think that upgrading your account leads to more revenue being shared or more ads to click. That’s wrong. It has nothing to do with those.
Upgrading your account is more related towards referrals. If you can bring in more referrals, you could benefit greatly through the higher memberships. However, one thing you should know is getting referrals isn’t easy. You can’t expect to bring in hundreds or thousands of referrals just by sharing your link on social media or forums.
I’m sorry, these methods don’t work. Although you could get a handful of referrals, they are never consistent to help you generate a decent income.
You would need to create blogs, YouTube videos or participate in other traffic exchange sites to get more referrals. This will eat up a lot of your time… and end of the day, the money you can make still isn’t that much. So if you ask me, it’s a waste of time.
Some of you might be asking, how about renting of referrals. Are they good?
No! Renting of referrals is a big NO for me. You are going to end up wasting more money. Renting 100 referrals is going to cost you $20. The problem with renting referrals is, you can’t predict how long they will stay or whether they will purchase any adpacks.
Think about it, if the referrals you rented doesn’t do anything, you will end up losing money. In other words, you have no control over your rented referrals. You can’t force them to do anything just because you paid. They can join today and quit tomorrow. You have no say over that.
This “rented referral’s” thingy is only a money making opportunity for the owner himself.
Are there any Risks?
Before getting committed to any opportunity, it is important that you fully understand whether there are any risks.
Revenue Sharing does have it’s fair share of risks. For those of you who are new to this, this(revenue sharing) business model revolves around new members and sales of adpacks. As mentioned on their website, 50% of the total sales will be paid out as referral commissions.
The remaining 50% is what that will be placed in the “sharing pool”. There is no specific amount of how much money you will make today, tomorrow or the next day. It totally depends on how much sales are made for that day.
In worst cases, if no sales are made at all or the profit margin is too little to share, you could go without making a single penny for that day. So you should understand that purchasing these shares doesn’t guarantee you any money. If you check out their FAQ section, they have clearly stated regarding this issue.
Over time, as lesser people join(& purchase adpacks) and more people start quitting, you will start to see complaints coming from members of not getting paid. This is very common across revenue sharing sites like this.
I have personally experienced this myself with a couple of sites. They paid without fail at the start but after a couple of months, they have stopped paying me although I am active. In the end, I am the one in the loss. This is the sole reason why I have avoided participating in such opportunities.
So is RevenueShareFive a Scam?
I know some of you might be thinking right, so is RevenueShareFive a scam?
Well… at the moment, it seems to be legit. People are getting paid but as mentioned earlier, this is simply because the site is only launched recently. I won’t be surprised if we start having complaints or issues 2 to 3 months down the road.
A smart move would be to capitalize on this opportunity while they are still new. Even then I wouldn’t guarantee you anything. Just keep in mind that the risks are always there.
Is RevenueShareFive for You?
For those of you who are considering to join RevenueShareFive, you might want to read this first.
Basically, if you got something to advertise, then RevenueShareFive might be a good place for you. Or if you are good at recruiting people then you might also want to consider it.
If you are just someone who wants to stick around and participate in revenue sharing opportunity only, I wouldn’t really recommend it to you firstly because there are risks associated with it and furthermore, the earning potential isn’t really that great for anyone’s liking.
There are much better alternatives out there you could look into rather than wasting time participating in revenue sharing or clicking on ads.
My Final Thoughts!
Although RevenueShareFive is free to join, I am quite disappointed by the fact that you will need to have an active adpack before requesting for withdrawal. Meaning, you are indirectly encouraged to spend money through their terms and conditions. Sneaky move there if you ask me…
I’m never a big fan of revenue sharing sites because of my past experiences with them. Of course, you can choose to learn from my experience or you could simply ignore it and try it for yourself. Either way, the ultimate decision is yours to make so I will leave it to you.
To sum up what I’ve said earlier, revenue sharing simply isn’t for everyone. It’s more catered towards advertisers who want to make some money while promoting their websites.
Final Verdict: Legit, But Not Recommended
Safe & Solid Way To Make Money Online?
For those of you who are still keen in generating good income online, I highly recommend that you start your own online business. This is a really safe and solid opportunity because you don’t depend on anybody but yourself. You don’t have to worry about purchasing adpacks, upgrading your memberships and not making money.
So… what do I mean by online business?
There are many ways of running your very own online business. Selling your own products or running an e-commerce store are a few I can list from the top of my head. But the one that I have personally tried and am talking about is called Affiliate Marketing.
Affiliate Marketing means promoting someone else’s products/services and earn commissions from it. There are countless of benefits for this approach which is the reason why I really love it.
Some of them include…
- You don’t need a huge capital to start
- Can be done from the comfort of your own home
- No need to physically get in contact with anyone. Everything is done through the internet.
- You don’t have to worry about what products to sell or storage space to put your products
- Definitely has more potential to make money compared to revenue sharing sites
It’s really not difficult to get started. All you need is an interest or passion. If you have one, you can build a business around it. I have been doing this for just over a year and have seen more than just great success with it. This opportunity has allowed me to quit my day job and run this entirely from home and the best part…? My income is almost 3 times of what I earned in the corporate world.
Though it is nice to hear… I have to tell you that this didn’t happen overnight. I have put in a great amount of effort to make this work. If you are expecting to make tons of money within a week or month, sorry, this isn’t something for you. You have to put in the effort and give yourself enough time to see success in this.
I know some of you might be thinking right now, how do I get started without any proper understanding or knowledge about Affiliate Marketing & starting an online business. Don’t worry, I have got you covered. I have been using this program called Wealthy Affiliate. It’s an online training platform that teaches you from scratch to building an affiliate marketing business.
