What is Uvioo all about?

Uvioo is a website that claims to pay you for sharing YouTube videos. This site has been around for quite awhile. To be exact, since 28 October 2010. During this period they have attracted over 150,000 members(I am one of them too) and have over 100 million videos shared.

Personally, I stopped using this site after about working with them for close to two months. During this period I managed to clog around $15 before I told myself, “that’s it… I’m not going to waste any more time on this”.

Two reasons why I stopped,

(1) It was taking ages for me to reach the minimum cash out limit.

(2) I was afraid that after all these efforts I wouldn’t get paid a dime

I will go into more details about the issues with this site slightly later on. But before that, let’s look at how this entire website operates and how will you make money.

How Exactly Will You Make Money?

Uvioo is actually an advertising platform where YouTube channel/video owners can advertise their videos here to boost their views for whatever reasons. These owners will pay Uvioo money to play their videos on this site to increase their views. And in return, Uvioo will pay you money for helping them increase the video view count.

According to their website, you will earn up to $0.10 for every video you share. You can share the videos on Facebook, Google +, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest and several other networks. The good thing is once you hit the share button, you will immediately be credited with $0.10 on your account.

To be specific, there are 4 different ways in which you could benefit from.

#1: Paid To Share

As mentioned earlier, you will get paid $0.10 for every YouTube video you share. According to them, you can share as many videos as you want per day. There is literally no limit. So ideally if you want to make more money quickly, obviously you want to share more videos and on a frequent basis.

#2:  Paid on every view

I not a believer of this because it seems totally too good to be true to me. Basically, what this says is, the moment this video is shared, you will get paid for every view on it. How much? Wasn’t specifically mentioned… but as far as I know, I didn’t see much movement in my earnings since I shared the videos initially.

#3: Promote this website

Bringing in new(FREE) members to Uvioo through your affiliate link will earn you some money. I’m not sure how true is this because I personally didn’t bother trying it. I usually only promote a certain program/product to others only if I have tried myself and benefited from it.

#4: Earn Commissions through referral’s upgrade

You will earn commissions from every referral who decided to spend money and upgrade their account. You can earn up to $40 for every upgrade.

Issues With Uvioo?

Guess all of you here are eager to know more about the different issues with this site. Am I right?

Enough for the wait, let’s dive into it right away.

(1) Spam Sharing is bad.

This business model revolves around sharing. Sharing on your social media account and other networks. Sharing once or twice is fine. But spam sharing your accounts with these videos will probably frustrate your family and friends who are in your network. I wouldn’t be surprised that some of your friends start to unfriend or unfollow you.

Although it’s simple on your side, just click on the video and get paid for sharing… it looks spammy on the other side(your social media profile is full of videos).

(2) Minimum Cashout threshold is $100

What made me feel that these guys are not genuine at all is because of the $100 cash out limit. Personally, I feel that there is no reason for them to put such a high number for it. The only reason I could think off is they deliberately don’t want to pay you or wants you to spend money to reach the minimum threshold.

So what do I mean by spend money?

Uvioo-Members-Area

Once you login to your account and click on the “your earning” tab, you will see something like above. Basically, there are some “actions” you could take to increase your earning or reach your minimum threshold faster.

Purchase Checkpoints – They encourage you to purchase their so-called checkpoints so that you can earn extra money and advertising credit to use for and increase views. For this particular $10 checkpoint, they want you to spend $5 of your money and they will pay you $10 cash. Honestly speaking I don’t get the logic behind this.

Why must I spend $5 and why will you pay me additional $5?

I feel that their reasoning is a bit stupid. To me, it seems like they just want you to spend money so that they can earn from you.

Gold Positions/ Pro upgrades – Apart from checkpoints, this is another way for them to take money from you.

Money

At the end of the day what you need to understand from all these is that there is no guarantee that you will be able to take out your money after you reach the minimum threshold. There are members who have complained of not getting paid so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that happens to any of you.

If these guys are serious about letting all of you here make some money, the instead could have made the minimum cash out limit like $10 or $20. That seems more reasonable to me. It seems more like they deliberately put a high number to encourage people to spend more money and end up getting none.

So is Uvioo a Scam?

Yes, to me Uvioo definitely seem like a scam. I highly encourage that all of you stay away from this site.

This site doesn’t have the intention to pay the members at all right from the start, if not they wouldn’t have capped their minimum threshold at $100.

As a free member, it is going to take you ages before you can reach the $100. Putting so much effort and time just to find out that you are not going to get paid? Totally not worth it. You could rather put that time to better use than spending it on a website like Uvioo.

There also isn’t any information about who owns or runs the website. The person who owns this site chose to remain anonymous because he doesn’t want anyone to know about him while he scams our money. If this site is honest, there should at least be some details about the founder or owner. I couldn’t find anything here which just increases my suspicion on this website.

Final Verdict: Scam, Not Recommended

Safe & Solid Way To Make Money Online?

For those of you who are keen in generating good income online, I highly recommend that you start your own online business. This is a really safe and solid opportunity because you don’t depend on anybody but yourself. You don’t have to worry about completing the tasks and not getting paid.

So… what do I mean by online business?

There are many ways of running your very own online business. Selling your own products or running an e-commerce store are a few I can list from the top of my head. But the one that I have personally tried and am talking about is called Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing means promoting someone else’s products/services and earn commissions from it. There are countless of benefits for this approach which is the reason why I really love it.

Some of them include…

  • You don’t need a huge capital to start
  • Can be done from the comfort of your own home
  • No need to physically get in contact with anyone. Everything is done through the internet.
  • You don’t have to worry about what products to sell or storage space to put your products
  • Definitely has more potential to make money compared to revenue sharing sites

It’s really not difficult to get started. All you need is an interest or passion. If you have one, you can build a business around it. I have been doing this for just over a year and have seen more than just great success with it. This opportunity has allowed me to quit my day job and run this entirely from home and the best part…? My income is almost 3 times of what I earned in the corporate world.

Though it is nice to hear… I have to tell you that this didn’t happen overnight. I have put in a great amount of effort to make this work. If you are expecting to make tons of money within a week or month, sorry, this isn’t something for you. You have to put in the effort and give yourself enough time to see success in this.

I know some of you might be thinking right now, how do I get started without any proper understanding or knowledge about Affiliate Marketing & starting an online business. Don’t worry, I have got you covered. I have been using this program called Wealthy Affiliate. It’s an online training platform that teaches you from scratch to building an affiliate marketing business.
