This review is going to be about a website called Stuffpoints. What is Stuffpoints? Is it a scam? Or a legit opportunity for you to earn money/rewards online? Is it really worth your time and efforts? These are some of the questions that we will be covering in this short review.
Alright without further ado, let’s get things rolling…
Price: Free to join
What is Stuffpoints all about?
Stuffpoints is a Get-Paid-To site that gives rewards to its members for completing simple tasks. You will have to accumulate a certain number of points in your account before you are able to convert it to a reward.
Stuffpoints has been around since 2010 and has definitely attracted a lot of people ever since. Some of you might have the thinking that if a website has been around for such a long period of time, it definitely MUST be legit.
Well, maybe in some cases…
Personally, I won’t confidently say that Stuffpoints is a site that everyone should try. I have signed up with them several months back and tried to make the most out of it. However, it turned out to be a bad experience for me which led to me quit halfway through.
My Personal Experience!
It may seem like an interesting site where you complete simple tasks such as offers, surveys, installing apps, referring friends, watching videos and get paid in terms of points that can be converted to rewards later on.
But frankly speaking, it’s not so simple at all.
As for myself, I wasn’t able to do most of the tasks there. How will I collect points if every time I don’t get to anything to do?
For instance, let’s talk about the surveys.
Every time I click a survey I end up getting rejected or telling me there are no surveys for me to do.
Something like this always shows up when I try to do a survey. What’s really frustrating is that they don’t immediately tell you that there isn’t any survey for you to do. They make you spend like 4-5 minutes answering some pre-survey questions and then tell you that there isn’t any survey at the moment for you.
Watch Videos to earn?
I wasn’t able to watch any video also. Since the day I signed up, the keep showing me the same thing. “Sorry, we are all out of videos today. Check back tomorrow!”. I checked every day but instead of providing me with videos to watch it shows me this again and again.
At first, I thought I might be the only one facing such issues. But I was wrong. I went to their Facebook Page and I can find tons of complaints about them.
If you log in to the members area, you will see this “happening now” banner continuously updating. Initially I thought that it updates everyone;s recent activities and points earned. But then I took a closer look at it, it is actually some programmed banner that makes it look like it’s in real time when it reality it’s NOT!
The reason why I say this is because the same usernames keep popping up over and over again in the same tasks. Looks like they want everyone to believe that people are really completing tasks and collecting points.
So is Stuffpoints a Scam?
Yes, Stuffpoints is definitely a scam. I highly encourage that all of you stay away from this website. Even though it’s free to join, you are hardly making any money out of it. The time you spend completing the tasks(if you get to do it), doesn’t justify the rewards.
Furthermore, there are also complaints from members that they are not able to cash out their earnings and there isn’t any response from the admins when asked for help.
If you ask me, you time spent can be put to better use instead of spending it on a site like Stuffpoints that will leave you empty handed at the end of the day.
Final Verdict: Scam, Not Recommended
Safe & Solid Way To Make Money Online?
For those of you who are keen in generating good income online, I highly recommend that you start your own online business. This is a really safe and solid opportunity because you don’t depend on anybody but yourself. You don’t have to worry about completing the tasks and not getting paid.
So… what do I mean by online business?
There are many ways of running your very own online business. Selling your own products or running an e-commerce store are a few I can list from the top of my head. But the one that I have personally tried and am talking about is called Affiliate Marketing.
Affiliate Marketing means promoting someone else’s products/services and earn commissions from it. There are countless of benefits for this approach which is the reason why I really love it.
Some of them include…
- You don’t need a huge capital to start
- Can be done from the comfort of your own home
- No need to physically get in contact with anyone. Everything is done through the internet.
- You don’t have to worry about what products to sell or storage space to put your products
- Definitely has more potential to make money compared to revenue sharing sites
It’s really not difficult to get started. All you need is an interest or passion. If you have one, you can build a business around it. I have been doing this for just over a year and have seen more than just great success with it. This opportunity has allowed me to quit my day job and run this entirely from home and the best part…? My income is almost 3 times of what I earned in the corporate world.
Though it is nice to hear… I have to tell you that this didn’t happen overnight. I have put in a great amount of effort to make this work. If you are expecting to make tons of money within a week or month, sorry, this isn’t something for you. You have to put in the effort and give yourself enough time to see success in this.
I know some of you might be thinking right now, how do I get started without any proper understanding or knowledge about Affiliate Marketing & starting an online business. Don’t worry, I have got you covered. I have been using this program called Wealthy Affiliate. It’s an online training platform that teaches you from scratch to building an affiliate marketing business.
